About Kristen Kalibak

A member of the Portland, Oregon interior design community, Kristen Kalibak serves In Your Home as a remodeling consultant. Holding certification in Kitchen and Bath Remodeling and Universal Design and Universal Design earned through the National Association of the Remodeling Industry. Kristen Kalibak works with diverse clients in planning out the process of upgrading home environments. The result is interiors that are safe, compliant, and measurably improve function and aesthetics. One vital aspect of Ms. Kalibak’s mission is meeting the needs of caregivers and those with limited mobility and cognitive disabilities. She applies principles of universal design in these projects and partners with the Oregon Office of Developmental Disabilities Services on state-funded assignments. Her experience extends to providing interior consulting solutions, including the design and budgeting of functional spaces of nonprofit group homes as well as private home owners. Aging in Place is a true focus, keeping folks in their homes for as long as possible. Ms. Kalibak’s academic background includes an AA earned at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh in interior design and residential planning. Family focused, Ms. Kalibak enjoys time spent with her canine companion Clementine, as well as camping and golfing.
